Susan Rosenbaum, an English professor at the University of Georgia, has started a digital project to document the life and career of the poet Mina Loy with her colleagues Suzanne W. Churchill (Davidson College) and Linda Kinnahan (Duquesne University).
Part of this project aims to redefine how we think about innovative and experimental art in the 20th century. Instead of the avant-garde, they have coined the term en dehors garde and have invited anyone interested to contribute a short digital postcard about what the en dehors garde might mean for thinking differently about 20th-century art and literature.
I've sent in my postcard. You can read it and the rest here.
